WIND / WAVE OBSERVATIONS IN SOUTH CAROLINA

This page utilizes data collected in the nearshore by our laboratory. These stations were initially set up as part of the South East Coastal Observing System (SEACOOS). Currently are maintained and operated as part of the Integrated Coastal Observing System for the Carolinas (funded by NOAA). Offshore buoy data are provided by NOAA's National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) . For information on surface currents follow the WERA Coastal Radar link.
