   Susan Lang   Assistant Professor    

Bryan Benitez-Nelson Research Technician. Bryan is the guru who keeps things in lab running smoothly, with the help of his handy instrument behavioral modification stick. 
  Georgia Dahlquist Ph.D. Candidate. Georgia received her B.S. from Berea College and her M.S. from Montana Tech. She is looking foward to translating her experiences studying trace metal processes in Yellowstone to upcoming field work in the Lost City Hydrothermal Field.
Tran Nguyen M.S. Candidate. Tran is a former USC undergraduate and earned her B.S. in Environmental Science. She has been working on isotope systems of methanogens. 
Nick Camper Nick Camper M.S. Candidate. Nick came to us from University of West Georgia where he received his B.S. in Geology. He is analyzing fluids from the Atlantis Massif to identify hot spots of subsurface microbial activity.

  

Hannah Park USC undergraduate researcher. Hannah is a senior MSCI major with a chemical concentration.

  Katie Hickok Katie successfully defended her M.S. in July, 2017. Congratulations Katie! 
  Emma Wanamaker  Research Specialist II. Emma did the heavy lifting of getting our analytical capabilities off the ground. Emma has a B.S. in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Boise State University. She is currently in Seattle.
  Russ Krueger REU Summer Student. Russ joined us from Gustavus Adolphus College, where he has returned to finish his B.S. in Geology.
  Alexandra Mele USC undergraduate researcher. Alexandra graduated with her B.S. in Environmental Science and minor in Geology in May 2015. She is currently working in the stable isotope lab at the University of Washington
  Philip Fhay USC undergraduate researcher.
